An expensive aspect of electric vehicles is almost always the battery packs that come with them. The price of battery packs usually depends on how it’s built and where the parts are shipped from. The bigger the EV, usually the more expensive the packs can be. It seems that the price for the lithium-ion battery pack that goes with the 2025 Ram 1500 REV truck will cost $25,853, which is about the same price as the 2024 Toyota Prius. Although the cost seems a little high, it will all be well worth it because the 2025 Ram 1500 REV will be a beast of a vehicle for any driver lucky enough to own it.

Ram will debut its first battery-electric light-duty pickup truck at the New York International Auto Show. This new vehicle is the 2025 Ram 1500 REV, and customers can’t wait to get their hands on it. The truck comes with two all-electric options, which include a 168-kWh battery pack with a distance of 350 miles and a 229-kWh large battery pack with a distance of 500 miles.

More impressive capabilities include a 0-60 mph time of 4.4 seconds, 654 horsepower, 620 lb-ft of torque, 14,000 lbs of towing, and much more. The 2025 Ram 1500 REV has five trim levels: Tradesman, Big Horn/Lone Star, Laramie, Limited, and Tungsten. This new electric truck is a part of the Stellantis Dare Forward 2030 plan to help bring a clean, safe, and affordable way to transition towards electric vehicles. Drivers will feel comfortable knowing this vehicle has Hands-free Active Driving Assist, ParkSense Automated Parking System, and updated technology features. This electric truck has a muscular exterior look, LED headlamps, an R-A-M badge, and 20 or 22-inch all-terrain tires.
As for the interior, passengers can ride in a luxurious and comfortable vehicle because the materials are made of leather, carbon fiber, and metal. There is a Uconnect 5 system with a 14.5-inch touchscreen, 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, 10.25-inch passenger screen, digital rearview mirror, and more. More features include Lane Departure, Lane Keep Assist, adaptive cruise control, and drowsy driving assist. Even a smartphone can be used as a key to get into the truck by downloading the Ram app on any smartphone.
